Supersides and Full Wraps on Premium or Classic black cabs, with interior Tip Seat advertising included in every campaign.
Taxi advertising puts a brand on the outside and the inside of licensed taxis, which then carry it around a city for the length of the campaign. In London that means black cabs: vehicles that are already part of how the city looks, working the same streets as the audience you are trying to reach.
It is bought as a monthly rate per cab, for a set number of vehicles over a set period. There are two exterior formats — large panels on both flanks of the cab, or a wrap covering the entire vehicle — and interior tip seat panels are included with both.
The thing that makes it different from every fixed outdoor format is simple: the advertising moves. A poster site waits for its audience. A taxi goes and finds them, working the business districts in the morning, the retail streets in the afternoon and the stations and airports late into the evening.
Supersides take both flanks of the cab. Full Wraps take the whole vehicle. Interior Tip Seat advertising is included with both.
Compare both formatsTwo vehicles, both working the same city. The difference is what the cab itself says about the brand on it — and how much interior inventory the campaign gets.

The traditional London black cab — the shape people picture when they picture London, and the most recognised taxi in the country.

Every Superside and Full Wrap campaign includes interior Tip Seat advertising at no additional cost, giving your brand additional visibility to passengers during their journey.
The exterior creates the reach. The interior does something different: it puts your message in front of a seated passenger with time on their hands, in the most captive environment outdoor advertising has. Premium Black Cabs carry three tip seat panels and Classic Black Cabs carry two, so the fleet you choose changes how much interior inventory the campaign gets.

Three things the medium does that a fixed poster site cannot.
Large-format creative at street level, moving through London all day rather than waiting at a fixed site for its audience to arrive.
The black cab is one of the city’s most recognisable icons. A brand on the side of one reads as established rather than as media spend.
Tip Seat advertising extends the campaign inside the cab, in front of a seated passenger with time to read — included with every campaign.

The City, the West End, Canary Wharf, Westminster and the airport routes — covered by vehicles that move through all of them in a single working day.

Taxi advertising puts a brand on the outside and inside of licensed taxis, which then carry it around a city for the length of the campaign. Unlike a poster site, the advertising moves: the same vehicle works the business districts, the retail streets, the stations and the airport routes over the course of a day. In London it runs on licensed black cabs, in two formats — large panels on both flanks of the vehicle, or a wrap covering the whole exterior.
You tell us the city, the format, an approximate budget and your dates. We come back with what is available and what it costs, you choose a format and fleet size, and you supply the creative. We print it on materials approved for licensed vehicles and fit the cabs at approved depots — printing and installation are both included in the rate. The taxis then work the city with the normal London fleet for the length of the booking.
Taxi Supersides start from a published guide rate of £750 + VAT per taxi per 4 weeks, with a minimum of 10 taxis per booking. Full Wraps are £3,750 + VAT per taxi per 3 months on the Classic Black Cab and £4,750 + VAT per taxi per month on the Premium Black Cab. Printing and installation are included in those rates. Most campaigns are then planned as packages rather than bought per taxi, and package pricing can be considerably more competitive — so treat the published figures as a guide and ask us to price the actual campaign.
Supersides are large printed panels on both flanks of the cab — strong street-level visibility at a lower rate per cab, which suits larger fleets and always-on awareness. A Full Wrap covers the entire exterior for maximum impact and creative freedom, usually on a smaller fleet. The useful comparison is not the rate per cab but what a fixed budget buys: more vehicles, or more presence on each one.
Yes. Interior Tip Seat advertising is included at no additional cost with every Superside and Full Wrap campaign, and it is not sold separately. Premium Black Cabs carry three tip seat panels and Classic Black Cabs carry two, so the fleet you choose changes how much interior inventory the campaign gets.
There is no minimum that suits every brand, because the number falls out of your budget, your format and your run length rather than being set independently. Awareness campaigns generally use larger Superside fleets for frequency; Full Wrap campaigns often run far fewer cabs because each vehicle carries so much more presence. We size the fleet against your objectives before you commit to anything.
London is the primary market, where campaigns run across Greater London including the City, the West End, Westminster, Canary Wharf and the airport routes. A licensed cab is not tied to a route or a site, so coverage is broad by nature — you are buying a share of the city rather than a set of locations. Campaigns outside London are possible; ask us and we will confirm what is currently available.
Yes, and it is a separate service from fleet advertising. Private taxi hire starts from £95 + VAT per taxi per hour: we provide the taxi and the driver, and the vehicle works to an activation plan you have agreed with us in advance. That is the way to have taxis in a particular place at a particular time — something a standard advertising campaign cannot do, because those vehicles are part of the working fleet.
Brands that need to look established in a city quickly, and brands whose audience is concentrated somewhere a cab spends its day. That covers financial and professional services, luxury and retail, hospitality, technology launches, recruitment campaigns, and international brands entering the UK market. It works less well for offers that need explaining in detail — a moving vehicle is read in a couple of seconds.
